Weekly meetings with education materials, reviewing applicable documents and signing off on them. We are primarily an opiate based outpatient center but also perform assessments, substance abuse counseling and we have a DUI program.
Nevada, Reno This position requires a creative and energetic person to develop and facilitate community substance abuse coalition work in Washoe County, Nevada. Duties include facilitating monthly coalition meetings, becoming part of other organizations’ efforts and meetings, working on a community substance abuse needs assessment, participation in writing a comprehensive community prevention plan, and working with a small team to develop and increase prevention capacity. The candidate must have a bachelor degree in a related field, possess excellent writing and public speaking skills, have knowledge of community organization techniques, and be able to bring people together in various collaborative efforts. The candidate should have a working knowledge of substance abuse and prevention technologies. A competitive wage is offered with benefits.
