About

Hi there! I’m Anthony Lee, LMFT, co-owner of MindWell Counseling & Crisis Services. For nearly 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, families, and kids work through trauma, relationship struggles, crisis situations, and life transitions. My work has always centered around meaningful connection, growth, and helping people better understand themselves and the relationships around them.

My primary approaches are Parts & Memory Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, while also integrating systemic, CBT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused approaches when they fit the needs of the client. I’m also a certified trainer in Parts & Memory Therapy and really enjoy helping newer therapists learn how to connect theory to the real experience of sitting with clients.

As a supervisor, I aim to create an environment where supervisees feel both supported and accountable without shame. Working with couples has taught me how damaging criticism can be, so I try to approach supervision from a strengths-based and collaborative perspective while still being direct when needed. I want supervisees to feel safe bringing in mistakes, uncertainty, frustrations, and difficult cases so we can think through them together and continue growing.

One of my favorite parts of supervision is watching therapists settle into themselves over time. I love seeing their confidence grow, hearing about the progress their clients are making, and watching their clinical relationships mature as they gain experience. I enjoy helping supervisees strengthen their clinical thinking, balance authenticity with professionalism, and build confidence in their own therapeutic voice.

I work with MFT and CPC interns and student interns in both individual and group supervision settings, offered in-person, virtually, or hybrid. I especially value supervisees who prioritize patient care, stay on top of documentation, communicate when they need support, and are open to reviewing recorded sessions as part of the learning process.

Whether you’re brand new to the field or looking to deepen your work with couples, families, trauma, neurodivergence, or crisis work, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you can grow your skills, challenge yourself, and develop into the therapist you want to become.
