The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), through the School of Public Health’s CASAT, has been awarded a grant to implement the Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) project. This primary prevention initiative will focus on preventing and reducing alcohol, marijuana, and e-cigarette misuse among UNR undergraduate students.
Key objectives of the project include expanding prevention efforts across campus, engaging with and training student leaders, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote mental health and well-being. By the end of the project, we aim to reach 25,000 students through campus-wide outreach and education efforts.
