About

Diana Saunders is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Executive Clinical Director and co-owner of Elements of Motivation Mental and Behavioral Health in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a Master Certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Trainer and provides both clinical supervision and national-level trauma therapy training for mental health professionals.

Diana’s journey toward becoming a therapist began at the University of Michigan in 2005, where her volunteer work in public schools sparked a lifelong passion for helping others. After six years as a middle school teacher, she transitioned into clinical work, earning her MFT license in 2013 and blending her background in education and therapy to support growth across the lifespan.

Her clinical work integrates trauma-informed modalities and deep self-awareness tools. She is Master Certified in ART, trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). Diana’s therapeutic interests include family systems, parenting, foster care and adoption, shadow and inner child work, and personality and attachment development. She treats trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress management using experiential and relational approaches.

Since 2011, Diana has been immersed in the Enneagram and has served as a workshop instructor and board member of Enneagram Las Vegas since 2016. She presents regularly at Enneagram conferences and community events, sharing her passion for integrating the Enneagram into therapy and personal growth work. Diana is currently authoring an Enneagram-based book for therapists and counselors, focusing on the practical integration of personality systems in the clinical setting.

As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Mentor for aspiring supervisors, Diana is deeply passionate about training the next generation of clinicians and advancing trauma-focused, integrative therapy practices.

When she is not leading trainings or supporting her clinical team, Diana enjoys gardening in the desert, swimming, sewing and crafting, planning home projects, and taking family walks to the park with her Boxador, Bentley. As a wife and mother of four, including boy and girl twins, she finds joy in creating a life filled with learning, laughter, and connection.
