Portrait of Milagros Severin Ruiz.

Milagros Severin-Ruiz

About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and LCADC Supervisor based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with over 20 years of clinical experience.

My career began in community mental health and nonprofit settings, where I worked extensively with individuals and families affected by substance use, complex trauma, and relationship challenges. These experiences continue to shape my approach, grounding my work in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and respect for each person’s unique story.

As a supervisor, I strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment where clinicians can develop clinical confidence, strengthen their therapeutic skills, and integrate theory with practice. I value authenticity, self-reflection, and ethical decision-making, and I enjoy mentoring therapists as they navigate the complexities of clinical work while building a professional identity that aligns with their values.
