I’m a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and approved supervisor in both Nevada and California, with extensive experience in behavioral health, program development, and evidence‑based addiction treatment. I’ve worked with diverse populations, including rural communities and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and my clinical background includes CBT, psychoeducation, MAT support, detox coordination, domestic violence intervention, anger management, parenting programs, and Batterer Intervention work. As a supervisor, I focus on creating a supportive, structured, and trauma‑informed learning environment where interns receive clear guidance, practical skill‑building, and honest, growth‑oriented feedback. I specialize in comprehensive assessments and individualized counseling for substance use disorders, and my approach is shaped by both professional expertise and lived experience as a trauma survivor. I hold a BS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and an Advanced Certificate in Addiction Treatment and Prevention Services, and I’m currently pursuing my MSW. My goal as a supervisor is to help emerging counselors develop confidence, competence, and a strong ethical foundation as they enter the field.
