Katie Derouin

About

I am a CPC and LCADC supervisor for both primary and secondary levels. I have worked in private practice, school-based behavioral health, outpatient substance use treatment, mobile crisis, and teaching for over thirteen years. My clinical experience covers trauma, mental health disorders, and substance use. I use CBT, person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and expressive methods like sand tray, narrative, and art.

What I enjoy most about supervision is helping interns grow into independent and self-sufficient clinicians. My goal is to guide you to become ethical and confident in your work by creating a supportive and safe environment where you can be challenged and grow. I see supervision as a time to slow down, examine cases closely, and have open conversations. I will ask questions, share my perspective, and encourage you to think through your decisions instead of just giving you answers.

If you feel we may be a good fit, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
