Kobie West

About

Dr. Kobie West is the Clinical Director for the International Problem Gambling Center, Nevada’s largest behavioral addiction treatment center. He holds several certifications and clinical licenses, including a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nevada Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and a Certified Problem Gambling Counselor (CPGC), and is licensed to supervise counselor interns clinically. Also, the Governor of Nevada recently appointed Kobie to serve on the Nevada Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug, and Gambling Counselors.

Kobie’s educational background is extensive, including a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Counseling and Addiction Studies, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctorate in Human Services. He has written numerous publications, including studies on Problem Gambling as a public health crisis.
