Rachel Agrario

About

I’m a CPC, LCADC, Approved Clinical Supervisor (primary and secondary), EMDR Certified Consultant in Training with experience working in trauma treatment, addiction recovery, co-occurring disorders, group therapy, and private practice settings. My background includes residential treatment, assessments for co-occurring disorders, and ongoing therapy work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship stress, and life transitions. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), and currently completing yoga therapy training. My clinical approach is influenced by somatic and nervous-system-informed work, attachment theory, mindfulness, and experiential therapies.

What I enjoy most about supervision is helping interns grow into confident, thoughtful, and authentic therapists. I see supervision as more than simply reviewing cases or completing hours toward licensure. It is a space to deepen clinical understanding, strengthen therapeutic presence, and explore the relational process that happens in therapy. I enjoy helping interns move beyond rigid “right or wrong” thinking and into a more nuanced understanding of people, relationships, and clinical work.

Interns working with me can expect a supportive, collaborative, and engaged supervision experience. I value openness, curiosity, honesty, and self-awareness. I want interns to feel comfortable bringing in questions, uncertainty, difficult cases, and moments where they feel stuck. At the same time, I will encourage you to think critically, build confidence in your clinical judgment, and continue expanding your skills.

I especially enjoy working with interns interested in trauma, nervous system regulation, somatic approaches, EMDR, mindfulness-based therapies, addiction, burnout, women’s issues, and relational dynamics. Our supervision may include discussion around attachment patterns, boundaries, countertransference, use of self, emotional regulation, and how to navigate difficult clinical moments with greater flexibility and confidence.

My supervision style tends to fit interns who appreciate depth, reflection, authenticity, and a relational approach to learning. I strive to create an environment that is grounded, growth-oriented, and supportive while still encouraging accountability and professional development.

If you are looking for a supervisor who values meaningful clinical growth, authentic connection, and trauma-informed care, I would love to connect with you.
