Monique Martinez-Quiros

About

I’m Dr. Monique. I am a licensed mental health clinician, clinical supervisor, consultant, and practice owner with experience across psychotherapy, crisis services, clinical operations, training, quality management, and program development.

My clinical work is grounded in honesty, transparency, cultural responsiveness, trauma-informed care, and what I often describe as curious confrontation. I value supervision as a space where interns can strengthen their clinical judgment, learn how to think beyond “what intervention do I use,” and build confidence in case conceptualization, documentation, ethics, boundaries, and use-of-self.

Interns working with me can expect a direct, supportive, and reflective supervision style. I will encourage you to think critically, ask good clinical questions, examine your assumptions, and stay connected to both client care and professional responsibility. My goal is to help you grow into a clinician who is thoughtful, ethical, accountable, and able to practice with both skill and humanity.
