CASAT’s Academic programs may meet the specific educational requirements in some states and could lead to certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor or peer support specialist, depending on the track selected. Many students completing CASAT programs pursue professional certification or licensure in their state of residence. It’s important to note professional certification and licensing requirements vary from state to state and are subject to change. For your convenience, CASAT has created a list of states in which our program curricula may meet professional certification or licensure requirements, indicated in the chart below.
It is highly recommended students directly contact the state agency you may be applying to if you are outside of Nevada, to ensure educational hours will be accepted.
